Memories of Magic
Kratos AKA Ghost of Sparta
__________________________________
Name: Kratos
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Race: Demigod/God
Appearance: Bald and black eyes. I have a white skin which is often confused with blueish. Low % body fat and very muscular. When you look into my eyes you can see the darkness of my past. I wear the Blades of Exile and the Golden Fleece on my right arm. Other distinctive features include a scar across my right eye, and a large, red tattoo that threads from my left eye, circles my left torso and ends at my left shoulder and a black goatee.
Personality: I am incredibly cruel and destructive and would kill anyone who gets in my way. I don't care if I kill a woman, child or men weaker than me. My guilt is often converted to extreme rage and my goal was to achieve vengeance on Ares for making me kill my own wife and child, my resolve is to kill all the gods of Olympus, if they try to oppose me. Despite my violent nature, I still respect and care for a few people.
Alignment: Neutral, Chaotic
Abilities: I possess incredible superhuman stenght, vast agility, stamina, reflexs and endurance beyond that of any mortal or beast. I can regenerate most wounds at a fast rate.
History: As Kratos attacked a village which worshiped the goddess Athena at the behest of his lord at the time, Ares, the Oracle who resided in the village warned the Spartan to not enter the Temple of Athena. Kratos, however, disregarded her warnings and slaughtered the people in the temple. After the massacre, Kratos had realized that he had not only murdered all in the temple, but he had unintentionally murdered his wife and child. As Kratos mournfully cradled the unmoving body of his dead wife, he discovered that Ares had orchestrated his family's death. After leaving the burning temple, the Oracle placed a spell on Kratos, a spell which caused the ashes of his wife and child to be forever affixed to his skin.
He is surprised when Athena tells Kratos that he is the son of Zeus. In denial -or renouncement of his kinship-, he replies that he has no father. He does not truly acknowledge this fact until the siege of Mount Olympus, telling Zeus that his son brought the destruction of Olympus as a gift to him. The one and only time Kratos is shown to be happy is when he sees his daughter, Calliope, again in Chains of Olympus.
After the murder of his wife and child, he -on occasion- seemed to be ashamed of his reputation. As he tries to reason with a woman in Athens to give him a key, only for her to run away in terror from him, he's clearly aghast by the fear his appearance inducted to others. Furthermore he tried but failed to stop her running and save her life. This shame was cemented further on in as he questions on several locations what he had become, as he witnesses the massacres caused by the minions of Ares. However, after meeting Pandora he started to gain regard for human life, refusing to sacrifice Pandora to the Flames of Olympus, and expressing regret both at the state of the world after Zeus's defeat and the fact that Pandora had been sacrificed, all for his own selfish desire for revenge.
RP Sample: While Kratos is slowly waking up his vision goes from black to blurry, he sees a strange figure, but whom is it? Unknown voice: "I finally got you, spartan. You will pay for your sins staying in the Underworld for etenity!" Kratos wakes up and sees a man, but suddenly all the visions came back. *Time travel back in the past* Unknown Voice: "You can not come into my city and do as you please Spartan! You must obey under my rules or pay the consequences." Kratos then leaves the palace in search for the hidden catacombs which supposedly lies underneath the city, so Kratos was looking for answers but the citizens only gave him vague information because they were loyal to their king. When the Spartan tries to execute a Coup d'état the king caught up to Kratos's plan and traps him in the Underworld. *Time travel back in to the reality*. Kratos: "Connor.. You're.. Connor.." Connor laughs and leaves the Spartan be. In the Underworld also known as the volcanic realm where all mortals would judged in the afterlife, Kratos plans his vengeance and forcefully breaks loose from all the chains, following his quest throughout the Underworld...
